Obsessed with nude nails this Spring

If like me your obsessed with the nude nail trend, you have to try Nails Inc Jermyn Street.

It's the perfect shade if your also a chanel rouge lover but in nude colour form - if that could ever make sense :S

It is dark enough to look sophisticated yet on trend with the catwalk this Spring!

I've added some sparkle to my nails this week to take my mind away from all the horrible weather! I've used Barry M Pink Iridescent on my accent nails.

There's Something About Berry Ice Cream....

For those of you who read my blog regularly you will notice a pastel theme here.

I am addicted to pastel shades this spring and I don't know what to do!!

This week I went out in Barry M - Berry Ice Cream. Barry M polishes never dissapoint, long lasting WITHOUT  a top coat and dry before you can blink.

The weather is way to cold to have any sort of iced dessert so I'll stick to this shade on my paws for now.

Another Grey Day.....

Well suprisingly enough today was not a grey day at all but my nails have sure been dressed for one! As of last week I am loving this new spring trend of having 80% nude and 20% bright nails and this is another combination that I am truly in love with....

I used Barry M Turqoise as with all Barry M nail varnish I can never find a fault. As for the grey well that is just another kettle of fish. I tried NYC polish in grey. The colour is perfect, not to light to look pastel but not to dark for an airy spring day. As for the quality I felt like I was painting my nails with murky grey water!

Other than that I have no complaints! What nails are you donning on this perfect spring week?

The New Nail Trend for Spring....

So we've all tried a look similar to this.. Beyonce started a trend with 'Single Ladies' and ever since everyone loves making their ring fingers (accent finger) look the bomb-digity. I thought I would try something a little different with two Spring/Summer trends from opposite ends of the colour spectrum!! The natural nudes and the beautiful bights.

 At the moment I am in love with every shade of nude and mixing it up with one of my all time favourite summer colours is just perfect for beating those Sunday night blues and brightening up a horrible rainy day like today!









I used my all time favourite Barry M polish in Fuschia on my accent nail and my favourite nude by Miss Guided in Misscellanious

Blue Sparkly Nails

Glitter and Ice Inspired Nails

This week my sparkly nails where ice and snow inspired! Using Barry M Cyan and Claire's Accessories glitter polish that I used in this post here. This blue is a colour that I normally use in the Spring but with a coat sparkle anything goes this time of year.

NOTD: It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas!

Today it officially feels like Christmas in my household. We've put our tree up and I am donning my first set of sparkly nails!

I recently treated myself to the Barry M Foil Effects polish in Gold. I LOVE it, you only have to use one coat to get a finish which looks like you've used three! I've added a tiger stripe design over the top of my ring finger and thumb making it look exactly like a nail foil. The gold has defo got me in to the spirit of Christmas helped by the smell of the fresh tree in our lounge.

Any who if you would like to get some sparkly tiger stripe nails in the spirit of Christmas here is the easiest way to achieve the look:

I used Nails inc Kensington as my base coat followed by one coat of Barry M Foil Effects in Gold.

 I then used a black fineliner pen to draw some tiger stripes on my thumb and ring finger.

To give my hands that finishing Christmas touch I applied Claire's Accessories nail varnish in 379 over the top! 

Ta Dah....

All the polishes I used are:

• Nails Inc - Kensington as a base coat
• Barry M - Foil effects in Gold
• Claire's Accessories glitter coat - 379 

These are my first set of sparkly nails for the festive season. Even though I've only just painted these I'm already looking forward to my next set and can't wait to share them with you later on this week!
